Directors Commentary Research

A directors commentary is usually presented via a video format, the director is either asked questions by another person or just provides answers to certain questions. It can includes the direction giving a commentary on a certain scene, explaining what they like and dislike about it and why they chose to present it in that way. They usually talk about what inspired them and how effective they feel their final peice was.
